Living On Purpose, For A Purpose
Have you ever had a day where you feel like you have completely gone blank? Like you don’t know where you are, and why you are where you are?
I have had about a few. I literally realize that this place is not permanent. That I have no clue where I am, but this is not home. In a split second your mind actually has to recalculate the time and space to keep up in the current place that you are in.
I know, it may sound unordinary, and not normal. But there is no such thing as normal. It’s taking me a long time to acknowledge that people's phrase and definition of normal is way beyond inaccurate and just an assumption of their minds that they can all take a census and agree too, but that’s cool for them, right?
If you are a believer and follower of Christ you know the scripture that says “before you were formed in the womb, I knew thee.” Jeremiah 1:5 in the rest of the scripture it continues, “and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Now he was speaking to the prophet Jeremiah, and he was telling him that He chose him long before he was created to be the special person that he called to do the work of the Lord. Now, just think about this… we all had a personal connection with God before we were formed, and before we were born. What if, before our formation our souls lived with God? What if we lived another life before being chosen for a purpose to dwell in the lives here on earth for a purpose.
We all are here to fulfill a destiny that God has created for us. To touch specific lives. To be influences, and stories and creators and examples of history. So He knew us, and we knew Him. So when and if you had that I don’t belong here moment or a blank and unclear realization that something doesn’t feel accurate. Maybe that’s our souls reminding us that we have a specific purpose and we are losing track and we have to get back to it. We are always trying to find out what we are good at (PURPOSE), and what we are here for (PURPOSE)? How can we actually change the world (PURPOSE)!
To live is a purpose. To change the world is a purpose. For good, and better in the name of Jesus, is a purpose. To spread the gospel is a purpose. To love wholeheartedly is a purpose.
