Determining Why We Follow
We are all able to determine right from wrong. Logic and Illogical. So why would you choose to follow behind anyone who holds anger and vows to harm in their hearts?
This is a question that is open for everyone to respond with thought. To have decency and compassion towards everyone and their points of view.
Do you know what the difference between debates and plain old it’s my way or the highway?
I believe this is the reason things are lost in translation. Solutions can never get resolved, and there is always anger and violence. No one knows the good old definitions and protocols of things anymore. They want to reinvent and erase. But that’s a blog for another day.
Let me stay on topic…
Take a look at yourself. What do you deem valuable in your life? What are your morals? What do you believe is good or what do you believe is wrong? Do You choose to believe in Christ? or Do you choose to believe in Science? All in all, these are your rights, and your choices. Who am I to tell you either is right and either is wrong? Just because I love the color red and my peers don’t, it’s not going to make me love them any less. Just because I believe in something and others don’t, won’t make me attack them and demonize them. It should make you think about your circle, go and restructure and have conversations. It should make you be able to say, “Hey, I don’t agree with you on this, but for our friendship sake or for the love of this relationship, let’s change the subject.”
What are things that are your pet peeves? What do you like?
Okay, let’s take it a step further. If you don’t like nails on a chalk board, would you harm someone because you don’t like the sound? or Would you just walk away from the ignorance of them doing something you don’t like? Well, what if someone you really loved and admired said that they didn’t like it and would kill anyone who did it… would you kill anyone because of what the person you admired said that they would do? This is what our world is turning into. There is one person who has complete control over the logical thinking of grown adult people in this world. How is this? How is it that people can’t think for themselves? Regardless of our disagreements and our dislikes of things. Why can’t we think for ourselves?
You know it’s wrong to hate people for any reason at all. You can dislike anyone you want and don’t have to deal with them. You can dislike anyone, but you don’t have to celebrate with them. You can dislike anyone, but you don’t endanger lives or have someone who value you go and endanger people because you can’t be forgiven or an adult.
What have we been told all our lives about getting upset when we lose? You can’t be a sore loser. Right, wrong or indifferent to this response. We have been told this all our lives. Do you threaten everyone because you loss? No! Do you swear to kill everyone who bet against you? No! You play the game again, and again until you win. This is a childhood value that has been taught to most of us.
Following behind people who are sore losers, that have no logic in decision making, that has no time to read, listen, debate, and sit to resolve issues that can help others is disastrous. To follow someone who hates people because of color, sex, or creed is immoral. To follow someone that threatens violence because it’s not all about them is ridiculous. To follow someone that will tear down everything that’s history because is not fitting for them is sad.
