THE STUMPS & WRITING

I know I am not the only writer who has experienced the STUMPS!

What do I mean? Well, finishing a chapter and going over it a few days later and you're like wtf did I write? This doesn't make sense. Or, letting a beta-reader go through your chapter and finding out you hadn't completed a full thought in the whole chapter.

This is the most challenging for me as a writer. It's there in my head, but I get so excited for having the urge to write that I don't complete thoughts. So, when someone tells you and you pull up the chapter and read it and then you are like wtf do I do? (The Stumps).

As writers, our minds goes thousand miles per second. We have a notebook and pen handy everywhere we go. So when we are grocery shopping, taking care of our love ones, working and we try to get down as much as possible in those notebooks, but when you get to the computer and you have writing time... we get the blanks!

I have been going through this as I go over another phase of editing for my 2020 major release. It's driving me crazy!

I don't have a magical cure for the stumps, except clear your mind, meditate, pray or positive self talk.

Thanks for letting me rant to you!
